We have walls with sheetrock on them! One of the guys was on stilts putting up the putty. Who knew! It’s sounding pretty quiet in there so far, though. In the next few weeks we’ll get the final layer of stucco on the exterior, and the roof shingles. Starting on Monday, they will be sanding down the interior walls, priming and painting the interior, and also putting a clear coat on the exposed beams. We will have power to the structure after next Wednesday, after PG&E does their final inspection. FINGERS AND TOES CROSSED!!! We are also looking for a beautiful new rug to go into the studio. Something like a Persian rug but not too expensive, wool, with warmer tones, neat geometric designs, that feels good under the toes (we’ll be going without shoes in the studio), you know… your classic recording studio rug! Rug should be no longer than 12 feet and no shorter than 8 feet. If you or someone you know (and like) is looking to rehome a rug like this, please let us know. Email Allegra at abandy@odduapublishing.com. If you would like to lend some monetary support to this exciting project, please check out our GO FUND ME page. You can check out more pictures of the building’s progress there.
